Sea Mustard Soup(미역국)

Dinner with Sea Mustard Soup and Vegetable Stir-fry


Sea mustard are cooked in beef stock and seasoned with salt. Sea Mustard is another kind of seaweed that is used mostly in soup in Korea. After giving a birth Korean women usually eat this soup for more than one month as it is believed that sea mustard('mi-yoek',미역) is a good source of iodine that helps the women to get clean blood after giving a birth.
